Job summary

Module X Solutions is seeking a Technical Lead to act as a hands-on working lead, bridging frontline execution and supervision. You will provide strong technical guidance, lead day-to-day activities in your department, and coach others to meet engineering specifications and procedures.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on manufacturing experience, deep knowledge of department tools and processes, and a proven ability to train and mentor teammates while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

Hours

Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM. You will attend orientation at the normal start time, then the following day you will come in at your schedule of 2:30 PM. While working on the 2nd shift, a $2.00/hour shift differential will be added to the base hourly rate.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the tools, equipment, and processes of their department, and capable of training others, resolving production issues, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and company procedures.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and cross‑functional teams regarding workflow, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and report equipment issues, process inefficiencies, or personnel concerns to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
• Proven hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment within the relevant department.
• Advanced understanding of department‑specific tools, materials, and processes.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
