Job summary

Akkodis seeks a Technical Lead Engineer/Architect focused on C#/.NET and AI tooling. You will drive architecture, lead engineering teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders on Azure-based backend and cloud infrastructure.

The role is full-time, hybrid with in-person days near Wilmington, DE (19808), offering base pay 160k–180k plus a 7% bonus and a 6% 401(k) match, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in ASP.NET or .NET Core engineering with architecture contribution.
• Leadership in architecture and strategic AI adoption for engineers.
• Experience accelerating development with AI tooling (Azure Foundry, Claude Code, etc.).
• Proficiency with SQL Server and handling regulated data.
• Frontend work with Blazor / React / TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical direction for backend and cloud infra.
• Mentor engineers and drive development acceleration with AI tooling.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and plan in Azure DevOps.
• Guide data handling for protected financial data and regulatory compliance.

Technical Lead Engineer, Architect (C#/.NET, AI Tools) - Fulltime Role, from $160-180k base + 7% bonus, 6% 401k Match - Hybrid (2x weekly in Western Wilm., DE Suburbs) - Trustee, Financial Client

Our customer, a trustee organization in the financial services domain is looking to hire a Technical Lead software developer (architecture rather than people leadership) focused both on technical leadership and direct management of engineers working on backend, cloud infrastructure (azure), and development acceleration with AI tooling. This is a very modern environment with little to no technical debt (no code older than 2020). Exciting/dynamic technical development very unique in the finserv domain!

The ideal candidate would have experience with all of the following:

• 6+ years in ASP.NET or .NET core engineering, contribution to architecture and application design
• Leading architecture, technical leadership, especially strategic guidance on AI adoption / innovation for engineers.
• Accelerating development with AI tooling like Azure Foundry, Claude Code, etc.
• SQL Server DB, including scalable data processing, and dealing with protected payment, financial. or similar regulated data.
• Modern frontend work with Blazor / React, Typescript or JS.
• Ability to work with the business, gather requirements, document, operate and plan in Azure DevOps, and grow to an architectural level.

This is a fulltime role paying from $160-$180k base + 7% annual bonus. 6% 401k match, health/vision/dental among other fulltime benefits.

2x weekly hybrid onsite expectation just west of Wilmington, DE (19808).
