Senior .NET Developer – SQL Server Specialist
This is an in-person position in Denver, CO. Please only apply if you are in/near Denver and can commute to our office.
Team INM is a Denver-based digital agency with an established track record and genuine startup energy. We build sophisticated, compliance-aware software solutions for clients across a wide variety of industries and markets. We value teamwork, accountability, a roll-up-your-sleeves-and-pitch in spirit, and believe in honoring the individual talents and skills of our team members.
Job Overview
We are looking for a sharp, collaborative .NET Developer with deep Azure DevOps expertise to join our engineering team. You'll own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release management - but this is not a siloed ops role. You'll contribute meaningfully to full-stack .NET development, support client-facing solutions, and jump into whatever the team needs to keep projects moving.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) for .NET applications across multiple client environments.
- Manage Azure infrastructure, including App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, API Management, and related services.
- Implement and enforce SecDevOps principles: automated security scanning, secrets management, and compliance gates in pipelines.
- Contribute to full-stack .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API) as a productive member of the dev team.
- Integrate and operationalize AI capabilities - including Azure OpenAI, Copilot extensions, and LLM-assisted tooling - into client solutions.
- Ensure development and deployment practices meet compliance requirements relevant to financial services clients (SOC 2, PCI-DSS awareness).
- Participate in and lead code reviews; maintain team coding standards and documentation.
- Provide operational support across development and production environments — including outside your specialty - when the team needs it.
- Collaborate directly with client-partners to understand requirements and deliver value.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of .NET development experience (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Azure DevOps: pipelines (YAML), repos, boards, artifact feeds, and release management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, Application Insights).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices, automated testing integration, and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with SecDevOps principles: SAST/DAST integration, secrets scanning, policy-as-code, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with source control (Git/Azure Repos) and branch strategies in team environments.
- Ability to work independently and elevate appropriately - and a genuine willingness to be helpful outside your lane.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) or equivalent Azure certification - strongly desirable.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform on Azure).
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Semantic Kernel, or RAG pipeline implementations.
- Exposure to compliance frameworks relevant to fintech: SOC 2, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Azure Container Apps, AKS).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
Compensation:
Compensation varies based on demonstrated experience, certifications, and specialization depth. Top-of-range compensation is available for candidates who bring strong Azure certification, AI integration experience, and meaningful compliance exposure.
Team members are eligible for the listed benefits as well as access to a ski condo in Winter Park.
