Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 9+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience as lead software engineer on projects in new markets or with new technologies.
• Experience architecting solutions for multiple groups or disciplines.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, team oriented, and self-starter with leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide key technical contributions for major new products and applications including software development in C, C++, or other languages.
• May serve as Lead Software Engineer for projects in new markets or leveraging new tech.
• Mentor and guide less experienced software engineers.
• Serve as architect for cross-group solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors to integrate external deliverables into projects.
• Evaluate new technologies and propose improvements; author new procedures as appropriate.
