Job summary
The Richmond Group USA seeks a hands-on Technical Lead - Product Testing & Validation Engineer to drive validation programs for electric drive systems on large mining trucks. You will plan, execute and supervise vehicle-level testing and EMC validation in real-world conditions.
Expect 8+ years in electric drives, power electronics and electromechanical testing. You will troubleshoot issues, support NPI, and collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams; MATLAB/Simulink and high‑voltage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with relevant testing experience.
- 8+ years in testing/validation of electric drive, power electronics, or electromechanical systems.
- Experience with controls validation, system integration, EMC testing, and high‑voltage systems.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and test instrumentation.
- Proven ability to lead test programs and collaborate with customers.
