Job summary

Air Space Intelligence in Boston seeks a Technical Lead for the Defense team to guide a small engineering group from design to delivery, building new products and evolving existing systems. You will collaborate with platform engineers, domain experts, deployment strategists, and end users to deliver fast, reliable software that enables better decision‑making for airspace safety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Rust, Python).
• Experience using LLM tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Ability to partner across teams and directly with customers.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and driving work to completion.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn the domain and anticipate customer needs.
• Must be able to travel.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers from design through delivery.
• Guide implementation of new products (0 to 1) and scale existing systems (1 to n).
• Set standards for technical excellence and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, domain experts, deployment strategists, and end users.
