As a Technical Lead on the Defense team, you will guide a small engineering group, stay hands-on, and help ship complex software from design through delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language; Rust and Python are used.
  • Experience with LLM tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
  • Ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to turn requirements into shipped software.
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment and drive work to completion.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn customers' domain and anticipate needs.
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of engineers from design through delivery on defense-focused projects.
  • Hands-on work shaping new products from scratch (0 to 1) and evolving existing systems (1 to n).
  • Set the standard for technical excellence while collaborating with platform engineers, domain experts, deployment strategists, and end users.
  • Drive work to completion in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
  • Help customers and internal teams clarify and translate requirements into shipped software.
