Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Technical Lead (IT Subject Matter Expert) to head a cybersecurity team in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on delivering rigorous security assessments and authorization packages for FBI programs, with a strong emphasis on leadership and policy compliance.

The candidate will mentor professionals, ensure high first-pass acceptance rates, and collaborate with government ISSMs and system owners in a fast-paced federal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8–10 years of related experience, or Master’s with 6–8, or PhD with 4–6 years of related experience.
• Experience leading security control assessment teams and evaluating IT systems against NIST SP 800-53/800-53A guidelines.
• DoD 8140.03 advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCISO, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of cybersecurity professionals across unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret enclaves.
• Oversee deep-dive security assessments per NIST RMF and FBI SAA policies.
• Review and finalize SARs, STRs, and BOE packages for ISSM submission.
