Job summary

Nightwing seeks an experienced Technical Lead to set architectural direction for the unified AMS/FIPE platform and guide microservices and cloud-native implementations. You will mentor engineers, drive design artifacts, and ensure compliance with government standards while overseeing DevSecOps and integration with Kubernetes/service mesh.

Ideal candidates bring 14+ years in software architecture, strong cloud-native expertise, and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud

Qualifications

• 14+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with enterprise-grade distributed systems.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with workflow orchestration engines and automation platforms.
• Familiarity with UML 2.x and architecture documentation standards.
• 5+ years of experience in offensive cyber operations or related mission areas.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain system architecture for the unified AMS/FIPE platform.
• Establish technical direction and engineering best practices.
• Lead development of system design documentation and architectural artifacts.
• Guide implementation of microservices architecture and containerization strategies.
• Ensure alignment with Government enterprise architecture standards.
• Provide technical oversight for DevSecOps pipeline implementation.
• Review and approve technical design decisions.
• Mentor development team on advanced technical concepts.
• Participate in technical exchange meetings and code reviews.
• Support integration with Government platform services (Kubernetes, service mesh, etc.).
