Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
Eligibility through FE exam or professional registration (EI/EIT/PE) may apply.
Combination of education and experience meeting engineering fundamentals may qualify.

Responsibilities

Oversee project planning and design for Civil Design Section.
Review the work of other engineers and technicians; liaise with government agencies and private interests.
Develop and support grading and drainage plans; prepare construction plans and specifications.
Act as liaison with local, higher, and other authorities; stay current on projects and regulations.
Provide senior-level responsibility for planning and design activities on current projects; support design projects and studies.
Utilize design software such as Civil 3D to develop plans and reports.
