Job summary

Zifo is seeking a Technical Lead for angular & Python product engineering in the United States. You will lead a cross-functional pod, own technical delivery across Angular, Python APIs and cloud-native services, and stay hands-on with design, implementation, reviews, testing and production troubleshooting.

As a hands-on engineering leader, you will translate product direction into bounded designs, set standards for security and performance, mentor engineers and drive critical technical decisions

Qualifications

• Hands-on Angular 17+ and TypeScript experience required.
• Experience with Python services and APIs (FastAPI) including REST and ORM.
• Experience with AWS, containers (EKS/Kubernetes) and CI/CD.
• Relational data modeling and PostgreSQL usage in production.
• Familiarity with testing, SonarQube and secure dependency management.
• Ability to work across frontend, API, data and deployment layers.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on pod leadership with solution design, code reviews, debugging, release readiness and production support.
• Translate product requirements into bounded designs, service contracts and development tasks.
• Set practical standards for component boundaries, security, performance, observability and maintainability; mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, BA, QA and DevSecOps; manage technical debt and delivery risk; support PST overlap with distributed teams.
