Job summary

Zifo is seeking a technical lead for Angular and Python product engineering in the United States. You will lead a cross-functional pod, own technical delivery across Angular, Python APIs and cloud-native services, and guide engineers from design through production troubleshooting.

You will translate product direction into bounded designs, set high engineering standards, mentor teammates, and ensure timely delivery while managing technical debt and risk.

Qualifications

• Angular 17+ and TypeScript with readiness for Angular 19.x; standalone components, RxJS, state/change detection, reactive forms, accessibility and frontend testing.
• Real-time UI collaboration: WebSockets, REST-backed durable changes, optimistic concurrency/version checks, safe undo for multi-user workflows.
• Python services and APIs: production experience with Python and FastAPI or comparable framework, including Pydantic contracts, SQLAlchemy, REST design, authentication & validation; async execution, retries, idempotency, cancellation.
• Data, cloud and operations: PostgreSQL, AWS, containers/EKS or Kubernetes, S3, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code; troubleshoot across frontend, API, data and deployment layers.
• Engineering quality: unit/integration/contract tests; code reviews; SonarQube; secure dependency management; logs, metrics and traces.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on pod leadership: lead day-to-day technical delivery and stay active in design, implementation, reviews, debugging, release readiness and production support.
• Technical translation: convert product requirements into bounded designs, service contracts, tasks and testable vertical slices; identify dependencies and risks early.
• Engineering leadership: set practical standards for component and service boundaries, security, performance, observability and maintainability; mentor engineers and drive decisions.
• Product delivery ownership: collaborate with Product, BA, QA and DevSecOps; demonstrate results early, manage technical debt and delivery risk, align with PST overlap across distributed teams.
