X by 2 is a technology consulting firm focused on healthcare and insurance transformation. We seek a Technical Lead to design and build enterprise software solutions, balancing hands-on engineering with leadership and architecture decisions.

You’ll mentor teams, guide AI-enabled development, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-impact results in a hybrid work environment in the Detroit metro area.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering designing and developing enterprise applications, data/analytics solutions, and/or integration solutions.
• 1+ years of providing technical leadership as Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or Architect.
• 1+ years in AI-augmented software development of enterprise solution.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise software solutions.
• Translate complex business problems into technical solutions teams can execute.
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews and provide guidance.
• Define and enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and CI/CD practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Integrate enterprise systems via APIs and messaging platforms.
