Job summary

ELEKS is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead in the US to guide a team of engineers in building scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions. The role emphasizes architectural leadership, hands-on development, and close collaboration with product and project management.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with C#, .NET Core/Framework, Azure-native microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern CI/CD practices, along with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework.
• Experience leading development teams and setting technical direction.
• Azure native microservices architecture & Azure services such as AI search, Key Vault, AKS, Storage Queue, Azure Functions, Event Hub, API Management.
• Security protocols: OAuth 2.0 (OKTA).
• Kubernetes and Docker experience.
• Hands-on RESTful APIs based on API Management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD using DevOps tools and Terraform.
• Unit testing with Xunit/NUnit.
• ORMs: EF6; DDD (Data Driven Design).
• Databases: CosmosDB, MS SQL, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, high-quality, and performant software aligned with requirements and best practices.
• Analyze requirements, estimate work, and define scope and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate delivery with Project Manager, aligning timelines, risks, and constraints.
• Define and enforce architecture, coding standards, and best practices; drive technical decisions.
• Ensure scalability and sustainability of solutions and roadmap initiatives.
• Mentor and grow team members; foster ownership and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other technical leaders to ensure reuse across systems.
• Improve Agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and team workflows.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, training, and continuous learning initiatives.

Our client is one of the largest British-American insurance brokers globally, specializing in risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and investment banking solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a technical leader or lead developer, responsible for guiding team decisions, enforcing standards, and ensuring delivery quality
• 7-10+ years of experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework
• Experience with Azure native microservices architecture & Azure services (AI search, key vault, AKS, storage queue, Azure Functions, event hub, APIm)
• Security protocols: OAuth 2.0 (OKTA)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker
• Hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs based on API management
• Minimal API standard knowledge
• Good knowledge of CI/CD based on DevOps services, terraform
• Hands-on experience in Unit Testing using Xunit / Nunit
