ELEKS is a US-based custom software development partner seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our team in New York. You will design, develop, and maintain reliable software aligned with project requirements.

You will evaluate requirements, set acceptance criteria, and coordinate deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager, applying best practices to deliver high-quality, performant solutions. A learning culture invites ongoing growth and certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years with Angular 7+.
• Relational database experience (SQL).
• Microservices architecture.
• Nice to have: Aspect and CubeLogic, Databricks, Playwright + Cucumber, Azure DevOps experience.
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements.
• Analyze requirements, and independently estimate and set up tasks' acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate and coordinate tasks' deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager.
• Apply the best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality and performant solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with modern technology and optionally obtain professional certifications.
• Participate as a trainer or a trainee in various learning programs outside the main project.

• Essential: at least 2 years with Angular 7+


• Essential: Relational database experience (SQL)


• Essential: Microservices architecture


• Nice to have: Aspect and CubeLogic, Databricks, Playwright + Cucumber, Azure DevOps experience
