Job description

The Technical Lead will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of .NET applications. This role will play a key part in delivering critical product requirements, driving technical excellence, and mentoring a diverse team of .NET developers, SQL developers, QA engineers, and product management professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to guide projects through the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, documentation, and development of software applications, contributing to architectural discussions, technical specifications, and code reviews.
  • Develop, enhance, test, and maintain software applications supporting business units and functions.
  • Evaluate and implement software change requests, perform root cause analyses, and deliver efficient solutions.
  • Conduct integration testing to assess the impact of new developments or changes.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Manage software improvements, upgrades, and optimization of deployed applications.
  • Create professional documentation, including technical specifications and project reports.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for maintaining and troubleshooting database-driven applications.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software development or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven experience in the full SDLC, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Expertise in .NET Core Architecture, C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with .NET Framework, MVC, and Web API 2.0.
  • Proficiency in front‑end web development using Angular 12+, HTML, Bootstrap, JQuery, and CSS3.
  • Knowledge of RESTful service architecture.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Unit Testing frameworks.
  • In‑depth understanding of web development concepts (state management, stateless applications).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server 2017/2019/2022 and SSIS package development.
  • Expertise in Asynchronous Programming, LINQ, and Lambda Expressions.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable application architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of database schema design and optimization.
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Understanding of concurrency and caching techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in optimizing legacy applications.
  • Strong background in full‑stack development within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated leadership in Agile environments.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
