Synapse Tech Services is seeking a Technical Lead/Java Developer to drive backend and frontend integration, design robust APIs, and lead backlog grooming with sprint planning. The role emphasizes Core/Advanced Java, Spring MVC, and WebSphere expertise, along with CI/CD and testing using Postman.
The candidate will analyze business requirements, create test cases, and troubleshoot production issues while coordinating deployments to remote servers. Travel within the U.S. may be required.
The Technical Lead will be involved in grooming backlog, sprint planning to assign product backlog tasks. Gather business requirements, review, and analyze user stories acceptance criteria. Use Front End for connectivity from backend to show data. Write programs of exceptional handling, collections, threading, inheritance, and polymorphism using Core Java. Troubleshoot failures from the production environment and determine corrective action. Check and tail the logs with predefined keywords. Determine endpoint URLs with methods. Use Advanced Java for database connection. Update using postman software to test per request and response. Responsible for creating test case documentation. Run test cases and report defects to business for prioritizing as per user requirement. Use Spring MVC to develop web applications and handle HTTP requests. Use Git and SVN for source code commit and merge. Develop web services using methods including POST, PUT, DELETE, EDIT, and UPDATE. Move and run web applications on remote servers hosted in different regions using WebSphere App Server. Knowledge of Restful and Soap Web Services for creating web services. Use SQL Queries to create, modify, update, and delete data from databases and write queries from code. Write a context path including query parameters. Must have sound understanding of database and data structures such as DB2 and have strong grip in DDL, DML commands, joins, write stored procedures, query production environments, and deploy in higher level Testing and User Acceptance environments. Testing using CI/CD Integration tool. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; however, travel is not an inherent function of the position.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Experience:24 months in the job offered or as a Java Developer.
