SEI Investments Company in Oaks, PA seeks a Technical Lead – Microservices to guide multi‑tier, cloud‑based solutions, designing and delivering RESTful services with Java and Spring Boot, and coordinating DevOps pipelines.

In this hands‑on leadership role you will produce high‑quality code, resolve issues across test and pre‑production, mentor team members, collaborate with data architects, and drive Agile practices and process improvements in line with SEI standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of post-baccalaureate experience in application development.
• 5 years of experience with cloud-native, multi-tiered apps and microservices.
• 2 years of experience with REST, Spring Boot, Java, and DevOps tooling.

## Technical LeadApply: USA - PA - Oaks: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 14, 2026 (20 days left to apply): R0038037Employer: SEI Investments CompanyPosition: Technical LeadLocation: 1 Freedom Valley Drive, Oaks, PA 19456**Job Duties**: The Technical Lead – Microservices works with an application development organization delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation utilizing experience working on multi-tiered applications that are designed, developed, and delivered as cloud-based solutions, including designing, developing, configuring, and deploying Cloud Native applications; creating microservices application using technologies such as, but not limited to, REST, JSON, Spring Boot, and JAVA; and utilizing Relational databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server and DevOps toolsets for versioning, containers, such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. The Technical Lead – Microservices is responsible for the following: develop and design technical solutions based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements following the Agile process; produce high-quality code to meet all project deadlines and ensuring the functionality matches the requirements; analyze and resolve issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle; coordinating changes with project team leaders and cross-work team members; provide technical leadership to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programs; interact with data architects, other tech leads, team members, and project manager, as required, addressing technical and scheduling issues; suggest and implement process improvements for estimating, development, and testing processes; insure team designs and delivers code in alignment with published SEI & industry standards; and provide technical problems resolution and application support, as required.**Requirements:** Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Applied Computer Science, or another related field. Seven (7) years of post-baccalaureate experience with application development organization. Seven (7) years of experience with each of the following: delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation; and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server. Five (5) years of experience with DevOps toolsets for versioning, containers, such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
