Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Operations Leader in New Jersey to guide a high-performing team through end-to-end product development and manufacturing transfers. You will drive design transfers, process development, and global launches, partnering with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned group and manage, coach and develop direct reports.
• Provide global operations leadership to assigned programs or projects.
• Develop operations strategy and execute the operations project plan from charter to hand-off to manufacturing or supplier site and global launch.
• Partner with other functions to achieve commercial success, profitability, timeliness and quality objectives.
• Support supply chain manufacturing and governance through prioritization and resource allocation with R&D, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
• Plan and execute design transfer, DFMA considerations, manufacturing process design and development, CTQ cascade and technology transfer readiness.
• Build cross-functional teams and provide feedback and coaching.
• Follow defined new product development processes and procedures.
• Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and provide necessary resources.

Job description

• Lead the assigned group
• Manage, coach and develop direct reports
• Provide global operations leadership to assigned programs or projects
• Develop operations strategy, assemble the team, and develop and execute the operations project plan from project charter through hand-off to the manufacturing or supplier site and global launch
• Partner with other functions to achieve commercial success, profitability, timeliness and quality objectives
• Partner with R&D, Quality and Supply Chain teams to support supply chain manufacturing and provide governance through prioritization and resource allocation
• Plan and execute design transfer, pre-DFMA/DFMA, manufacturing process design and development, process characterization/CTQ cascade, process capability analyses, and technology transfer readiness
• Build cross-functional teams and provide feedback and coaching
• Follow defined new product development processes and procedures
• Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level
• Ensure compliance with Company Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines
• Ensure managed staff follow Company Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and have necessary resources
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required
• Minimum of 7 years professional related experience is required
• Medical Device/Pharmaceutical experience is preferred
• Strong communication and management influence skills are required
• Strong Manufacturing Experience is required
• Compliance with Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
• Compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental practices
