The Technical Laboratory Coordinator, under general supervision, serves as a student educator and supervisor for the mechanical engineering department in the mechanical engineering machine shop, as well as the mechanical engineering rapid prototyping studio. Will instruct and supervise mechanical engineering students on safe use of equipment and will provide assistance to staff, faculty, and students regarding fabrication of parts. Fabricates, maintains, and repairs metal parts, tools, and equipment. This position is focused on face-to-face education and supervision of students and operates primarily during evenings and weekend hours.
