Job summary
ICR, Inc. is seeking a Technical Intern (Software, Cyber, DSP, Data Science) for Aurora, CO. The role involves hands-on software development, testing, and documentation in support of defense-related projects.
Applicants should be pursuing a degree in CS, CE, or EE and have exposure to Windows/Linux APIs and software development life cycle. Compensation includes a paid internship with mentorship, potential for full-time opportunities, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and practical field
Qualifications
- Pursuing degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux System API and ABI.
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems.
- Experience with distributed software version control systems and continuous integration (Git, Jenkins).
- Experience implementing and integrating security concepts into applications.

The contracts ICR has with its customers require a security clearance, which, at a minimum, requires applicants to be U.S. citizens. Proof of citizenship will be required as part of the hiring process.
Pay Range: $30 - $38 per hour
- Rate based on year of college and internship status (new/returning)
ICR offers a great summer internship program with real, hands-on work experience on actual projects. Mentorship is taken seriously. We want you to feel like you are part of the team. All work and no play doesn't make for a great company culture, so we plan in some social and community events throughout the program. A high percentage of our interns that are offered full-time positions after graduation. Some of our more junior interns, who perform well, are invited to return for the following summer internship.
