Job summary

Lucid Motors in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Technical Instructor for the West Region Service to lead engaging EV repair training on-site at the service center. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to travel for on-site training both nationally and internationally.

You will organize classrooms, review training outcomes with the development team, and support Learning & Development as a subject matter expert. This role is full-time and on-site in California.

Qualifications

• 2+ years plus of technical training in the automotive field.
• 5+ years of working in the automotive repair industry.
• Associate’s degree in automotive or equivalent work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of electric vehicle repair techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Deep understanding of basic electrical skills, network diagnostics and high voltage systems.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and teach a diverse audience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to provide on-site training and support at facilities both nationally and internationally.
• ASE Certifications are encouraged and advantageous
• Certifications in electric/hybrid vehicle repair are advantageous
• General understanding of the training development process
• Previous OEM training experience preferred
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software

The Technical Training Instructor position requires someone who is flexible, proactive, and highly organized. Individuals should have a passion for and a deep understanding of Electrical vehicle diagnostics and repair and must possess outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

This role is fully on-site at the Lucid Service Center in Costa Mesa, CA. It is not a remote or hybrid position, and team members are required to be on-site five days per week.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$76,900 - $105,710 USD
