Vistex is seeking a Technical Instructional Designer to create engaging training for the Vistex suite. Collaborate with product specialists and the Training team to develop strategic learning plans for standard and custom courses, applying instructional design methodologies.
Responsibilities include developing training materials for instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced formats, analyzing end-user needs, updating content with new releases, and delivering pilot trainings.
Vistex Technical Instructional Designer is responsible for creating engaging and effective training courses for the Vistex suite of products. This team member will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and Training team to develop strategic learning plans for standard and custom training courses by leveraging instructional design methodology. The ideal candidate is someone who believes training should motivate and support participants in their job responsibilities. As part of our rapidly growing team, the Instructional Designer is expected to be self-motivated and rapidly adapts to new platforms to become productive contributor.
Responsibilities :
The compensation for this position is $70k to $80k annually. Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus. Bachelors or better in Instructional Design and Technology or related field.
Software material development, facilitation, and project experience.
Experience with eLearning tools and documentation software to develop and enhance training courses (SAP® Enable Now or WalkMe™ preferred).
Knowledge of SAP or ERP software products; Sales and Distribution (SD) SAP module experience preferred.
Must be highly proficient in various Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and Word.
Capable of analyzing and logically organize complex technical information and transform complex bodies of information into professionally designed, engaging and effective training.
Proactive utilizes resources to learn complex software including business case scenarios.
Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effectively lead projects including communicating with technical and non-technical team members who may be remote.
Ability to design or create dynamic and engaging content that incorporates both design elements and effective learning principles for an optimum learning experience.
Strong project management skills and able to successfully multi-task, set priorities, and meet timelines.
Travel required to customer facility depending on training requirements (10-20%).
