Creative Works, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Technical Installer for the second shift to integrate and install our attractions onsite.

You will wire and cabinet PLCs, terminate sensors, and program control systems, working with a hands-on team on projects like mini golf, escape rooms and custom props. Located at our Indianapolis facility, this role requires a high school diploma, travel as needed, and the ability to lift 25–50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma and experience with low-voltage wiring.

Responsibilities

• Wiring and building PLC cabinets and pre-wiring sensors and components for field installations.

Job Description

This position will work second shift and be responsible for the technical integration of our products. The ideal candidate for this position is an honest, reliable, and hardworking team player who loves to learn and enjoys working with their hands and building things. They will place tech into our attractions such as miniture golf courses, escape rooms and custom props. The seond shift technical installer would work at our Indianapolis facility and needs to be local to the area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Wiring and building PLC cabinets and pre-wiring the corresponding sensors, gauges, and components for quick field installations
• Terminating many different types of electrical connectors
• Ability to program PLC and other control systems
• Undertake work within your training capabilities as assigned by your lead or manager
• Participate in brainstorming/problem-solving with Engineering & Production personnel to solve related problems
• Work with in-house computer systems to record job status, time spent, and material tracking
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, diagram, or schedule form.

Keys to success:

• Previous experience with low-voltage wiring and circuitry
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Highly detailed and perfection-driven
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Capable of acquiring and maintaining any required certifications
• Willing to travel if needed for an install
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and others as necessary
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions

Pay and Benefits:

• Job Type: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
• Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday through Friday
