Job summary

Creative Works in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a dependable carpenter to build props for attractions such as laser tags, mini-golf, escapes, and immersive experiences. This is a full-time, on-site role with two shifts: 6:30 AM–3:30 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

The right candidate has at least 3 years of carpentry experience, is punctual, a team player, and ready to learn lamination. You will use hand and power tools, read build documents, and contribute to a fast-paced production environment.

• Minimum of 3 years carpentry experience.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Sense of urgency and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn lamination.

Responsibilities

• Use of basic hand tools drills, sanders, routers, staplers, etc.
• Use of power tools such as chop saws, table saws, router tables
• Sanding of props/parts after they are built to get them ready finishing
• Building of entry level props and signs
• Using a computer to access build docs and time tracking
• Willingness to learn lamination

We are looking for both 1st shift, 6:30am-3:30pm and 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm for this position.

We are not looking to relocate a candidate for this role. This is an onsite position located in Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time Hourly Non-Exempt
• Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. (Overtime is a possibility based on production timelines and deadlines)
