Job summary

Creative Works in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Technical Installer for the second shift to integrate our attractions. You will wire PLC cabinets, pre-wire sensors, and assemble control components for on-site installations at our southwest Indianapolis facility.

The role requires hands-on fabrication, problem solving with Engineering and Production, and the ability to travel if needed. A strong focus on safety, detail, and teamwork will help you succeed and grow with our company.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring low-voltage systems and circuitry.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and schedules.
• Excellent manual dexterity and a good mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Wiring and building PLC cabinets and pre-wiring sensors and components for field installations.
• Terminating different types of electrical connectors.
• Ability to program PLC and other control systems.
• Undertake work within training capabilities as assigned by lead/manager.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Production to solve problems.
• Use in-house computer systems to record status, time, and materials.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in various formats.

Job Description

This position will work second shift and be responsible for the technical integration of our products. The ideal candidate for this position is an honest, reliable, and hardworking team player who loves to learn and enjoys working with their hands and building things. They will place tech into our attractions such as miniture golf courses, escape rooms and custom props. The seond shift technical installer would work at our Indianapolis facility and needs to be local to the area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Wiring and building PLC cabinets and pre-wiring the corresponding sensors, gauges, and components for quick field installations
• Terminating many different types of electrical connectors
• Ability to program PLC and other control systems
• Undertake work within your training capabilities as assigned by your lead or manager
• Participate in brainstorming/problem-solving with Engineering & Production personnel to solve related problems
• Work with in-house computer systems to record job status, time spent, and material tracking
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, diagram, or schedule form.

Keys to success:

• Previous experience with low-voltage wiring and circuitry
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Highly detailed and perfection-driven
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Capable of acquiring and maintaining any required certifications
• Willing to travel if needed for an install
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and others as necessary
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions
• Ability to work alone with minimum supervision and with others in a team environment

Pay and Benefits:

• Job Type: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
• Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday through Friday
