Job summary

Conval, Inc. in Enfield/CT area seeks an Inside Sales Representative to deliver strategic technical support to customers and the commercial sales team.

You will prepare quotes, follow up on customer orders, and interface with company outside sales representatives and departments to understand and satisfy customer needs. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, strong sales and customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand needs.
• Act as the key liaison to the design engineering teams, taking feedback from customers regarding requirements and communicating their needs to the product development team.
• Proficient with quoting process, order entry, order management through shop, and working with customers and other departments to solve problems.
• Prepare and submit detailed proposals.
• Interface with customer providing precise delivery dates derived from the information supplied by other departments.
• Provide interdepartmental communication of in-house customer orders requiring special attention.
• Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs.
• Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications.
