Job summary

Health Catalyst is seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist in Utah to help healthcare organizations implement and optimize Health Catalyst's Measurable product. You will work with clients to understand data environments, validate measures, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure successful deployments.

The role requires strong SQL skills, data analysis, and the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data relationships.
• Ability to write SQL queries from scratch for troubleshooting, validation, and analysis.
• Experience investigating data quality issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• Experience working with data integrations, ETL processes, or data workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of Health Catalyst's Measurable product.
• Partner directly with healthcare clients to gather requirements, validate results, and resolve technical issues.
• Query and analyze client data using SQL to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and support decision-making.
• Validate healthcare quality measures and ensure accurate reporting outcomes.
• Investigate support tickets and perform root-cause analysis of data quality, integration, and configuration issues.
• Troubleshoot client-specific data challenges across multiple environments and platforms.
• Modify and optimize existing SQL queries to support client requirements.
• Collaborate with internal implementation, product, and technical teams to deliver successful client deployments.
• Document findings, recommendations, and troubleshooting resolutions.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for clients and cross-functional internal teams.
