Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Technical Illustration, Technical Communication, Industrial Design, or related discipline.
• Minimum one year of technical illustration, drafting, or 3D modeling experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering prints and schematics.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks Composer, Creo Illustrator, or equivalent technical illustration tools.
• Familiarity with ERP/PDM systems and controlled documentation workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Portfolio of past work required.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed, accurate line art for manuals, guides, and procedures.
• Interpret engineering models and schematics to develop 2D/3D illustrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and publications teams to ensure accuracy.
• Follow documentation standards for formatting, terminology, and consistency.
• Maintain revision histories and file structures in PDM/ERP systems.
• Support digital and print workflows for legacy and new programs.
• Participate in continuous improvement of illustration quality and efficiency.
