Job summary

Humanoid is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to work with Engineering, Hardware, and Software leaders in a hands-on, strategic role. You’ll support performance and employee relations, shape people practices at scale, and advise leaders closely to keep moving fast yet rigorous and fair.

Reporting to the Chief HR Officer, you will help define and deliver people strategy for our technical organization, guiding managers and shaping career frameworks while staying pragmatic and compliant.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HRBP experience supporting technical teams (Engineering, Hardware, Software, AI/ML).
• Experience partnering with managers on performance management and employee decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for Engineering, Hardware, and Software leaders.
• Help technical leaders navigate scale moments and evolving leadership expectations.
• Coach technical managers on goals, execution cadence, and feedback loops.
• Support performance differentiation and address issues early and fairly.
• Enable high-quality 1:1s, feedback, and career conversations.
• Partner with leaders to evolve career frameworks/levels for technical roles.
• Clarify dual tracks (IC vs management) and growth expectations.
• Spot retention risks in critical roles and implement plans.
• Support leaders with empathy, legality, and compliance awareness.
• Align with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy and interview health.
• Partner with People Ops to ensure smooth core processes and employee experience.
