Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a technically strong Security Governance professional to bridge Security & Compliance requirements with Engineering implementation. You will partner with Engineering, Legal, Product Security, and other stakeholders to translate controls into practical, scalable governance across systems.

The role focuses on second-line oversight, risk-aware decision making, and continuous improvement of security controls within Salesforce’s enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in security engineering, cloud security, product security, IAM, platform engineering, or security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Assurance and Engineering - serve as a technical liaison between Assurance, Engineering, Product Security, Legal, and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate Control Implementation - understand how security and compliance controls are implemented across apps, platforms, infra, cloud environments, and engineering workflows.
• Create the Engineering Feedback Loop - identify friction and unclear controls, feed insights back into design and governance processes.
• Translate regulatory and security expectations into actionable technical requirements for Engineering teams.
• Develop second-line oversight to audit that security controls are operational.
• Understand systems end-to-end to help Assurance make risk-based decisions.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and product teams on emerging requirements.
• Track regulatory trends including AI governance and international requirements.
• Drive change management and enablement to help teams know what applies and how to comply.
• Run control incident management with postmortems and root-cause analysis.
• Influence future control design with engineering feedback.
