Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a Technical Game Director to lead a multi-platform systems design effort using Unreal Engine to bring LEGO gameplay to life. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience shipping titles and in-depth capability to create deep, replayable game systems.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and art teams to evolve gameplay daily, ensure rapid prototyping, and drive a compelling, player-first mobile experience across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years shipping multiple titles as a hands-on systems designer and design leader.
• Experience designing building-based systems and rules to recreate physical play digitally.
• Hands-on Unreal Engine experience with Blueprints for prototyping and tuning.

Responsibilities

• Create industry-leading mechanics and content systems that maximize engagement and accessibility.
• Build a playable vision by rapid prototyping and iterating with engineering and art teams.
• Establish extensible game paradigms that scale with years of development ROI.
• Communicate a compelling systems-driven vision to non-technical stakeholders.
