Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. seeks a Technical/Functional Expert (Network) to provide network communication services enhancing HPC sustainment capabilities. You will support design, architecture, and enterprise security boundaries across datacenter environments.

You will work with Cisco, Juniper, F5 load balancers, and IPsec VPNs, ensuring robust routing/switching, firewall controls, and virtualization. On-call and ticketing systems experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline, required.
• Minimum of eight years in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security.
• Two years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• 8570 IAT II level certification required.
• Datacenter network design/architecture experience including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Provide network design/architecture support for HPC sustainment.
• Ensure enterprise security boundaries and datacenter virtualization requirements are met.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Maintain knowledge of TCP/IP stack and routing/switching protocols.
• Support on-call requirements and use ticketing systems to track tasks.
• Work with virtualization products such as VMware and Solaris containers.

• Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a Technical/Functional Expert (Network)o provide network communication services to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities.

Network Engineer provides network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Able to support on-call requirements.
• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing systems to track tasking.
• Experience with Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline
• At least eight(8) years of demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection
• Two (2) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• 8570 IAT II level certification
• Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
