Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Technical Financial Reporting Accountant for a large, global organization operating across multiple regions and markets. This position partners closely with senior accounting leadership and plays a critical role in month-end close, consolidated reporting, and external financial filings. The Technical Financial Reporting Accountant will support a fast-paced, evolving business environment while delivering accurate and compliant financial results under both IFRS and US GAAP.
Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- File external financial reporting documents and account for equity-based transactions.
- Report financial activity for multiple holding and funding entities under IFRS and US GAAP.
- Consolidate legal entities into US GAAP financial statements regularly and coordinate consolidation processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Review periodic financial results across multiple reporting segments for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate, review, and distribute monthly management reporting packages.
- Prepare technical accounting memoranda supporting accounting conclusions under IFRS and US GAAP.
- Serve as primary liaison to external auditors for quarterly and annual audit coordination.
- Prepare lead schedules and supporting documentation for external audit reviews.
- Complete ad hoc reporting requests and support special projects throughout the year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 5–10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience in industry or a minimum of 4 years in public accounting.
- Prior experience with a large public accounting firm strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with IFRS and US GAAP reporting and consolidation.
- Experience supporting external audits and preparing audit schedules.
- Proficiency with NetSuite, Salesforce, Concur, and advanced Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and complex accounting requirements.
