Job summary

Dorf Ketal Americas | North America is seeking a Technical Representative to sustain and grow sales for DK Energy Services in the Permian Basin. You will deliver technical support, recommend dosages for scale, corrosion and paraffin issues, and provide detailed reports to clients and internal teams.

The role requires field sampling, lab testing in Midland, RCFA reporting, and frequent customer meetings. Travel of 40–70% is expected, with opportunities to train staff and expand product offerings

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
5 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience in a technology role.
Oilfield Chemical Service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to field/sales staff and customers in the Permian Basin.
Make technical recommendations and dosages to customers for issues including: scale, corrosion, paraffin, etc.
Suggest monitoring procedures and KPIs to customers.
Provide technical reports to internal and external customers.
Attend customer technical meetings and conduct technical presentations.
Collection of field samples and lab testing in the Midland lab.
Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) reporting.
Build and maintain relationships with high level technical customer contacts.
Leverage customer contacts to gain additional and/or new business.
Support RCMS program and promote quality initiatives.
