Job summary

Unisity, LLC in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, seeks a Technical Expert/Functional Expert (HPC) to provide Tier 4 HPC support to NSAW and UDC sites. The role requires deep expertise in high-performance file systems and HPC environments.

The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and have 10 years of IT experience (with degree) and will work on configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting Linux systems and distributed job schedulers.

Qualifications

• Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of high-performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre.
• Advanced level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
• Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.

Description: Provide Tier 4 HPC support to NSAW and UDC sites.

The Technical Expert/Functional Expert (HPC) must possess the following skills and experience:

• Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of high-performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre.
• Advanced level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
• Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.

• Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of distributed computing tools such as RES, LSF, and SLURM.
• Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of RedHat and Suse operating systems.

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience (with degree or 15 without) in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise with the skills listed above.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and a position appropriate security clearance is required, you must have an Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph.

Salary: $230,000 - $240,000(Annually)

Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.
