Job summary

Ironclad Powered by Mersino is seeking an Estimator to provide technical estimating, application, pricing, and proposal support for pumping and dewatering projects, equipment rentals, and sales. You will work with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and branch teams to capture needs, define scope, and develop accurate estimates through award and handoff.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn pumping, dewatering, hydraulics, and equipment applications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, bid documents, and other technical information.
• Understanding of estimating principles and development of labor, equipment, material, and vendor costs.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for inbound customer calls and requests; qualify information and coordinate with Sales or technical resources.
• Manage opportunities from qualification to quotation and handoff, meeting deadlines.
• Collect, review drawings and bid documents to understand requirements and scope.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop preliminary scopes and inputs for pumping, dewatering, rental, and equipment sales.
• Develop standard pumping and dewatering solutions and coordinate with Engineering for large/complex projects.
• Prepare customer quotations, proposals, RFQ/RFP responses, and bid documentation.
• Support project handoff and provide estimating support during execution as needed.
