Job summary

Teradyne Robotics is seeking a Technical Engineering Manager to lead a team of AI engineers delivering physical AI for industrial automation. You will guide development from concept to customer deployment, focusing on obstacle detection, object identification, pose estimation, SLAM, and robust localization.

You will work across AMRs and cobots ecosystems, driving data pipelines, simulation-driven development, and integration into production robotic stacks, with a strong emphasis on reliability

Qualifications

• Experience leading AI/ML for physical robotics.
• Strong background in sensor fusion and SLAM.
• Proficient in integrating AI into robotic software stacks.
• Experience with simulation-driven development and data generation.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of physical AI capabilities for robots.
• Mentor and grow a team of AI engineers and promote best practices.
• Own features from concept through market launch and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, product management and customer success teams.
