Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Consultant in Robotics and Physical AI to drive the strategy, scoping and deployment of physical AI and humanoid robotics across data center hardware and logistics ecosystems, working with an EPAM key account in the San Francisco Bay area.

You will partner directly with advanced machine learning teams, engineering groups, logistics operations and top-tier robotics OEMs to transition manual workflows into scalable, autonomous robotic solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in robotics, mechanical/industrial engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years in automation, warehouse logistics or hardware programs.
• Familiar with physical AI, VLA models, robot kinematics and ERP integrations.
• Experience in data center hardware ops, RMA workflows, cleanroom/ESD handling or hazardous disassembly.
• Proven piloting of automated solutions, vendor RFPs and safe on-site deployment.
• Strong ability to coordinate across engineering, operations and vendor groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical data center and warehouse floor audits to map workstation constraints and ergonomics.
• Capture video footage, layout plans and task flows for physical AI training.
• Coordinate across ML teams, logistics ops and hardware engineering for testbeds.
• Manage end-to-end pilot execution for critical data center workflows and RMAs.
• Evaluate, benchmark and manage pilot integrations with robotic partners.
• Track KPIs and ROI models focusing on labor optimization and ESD risk reduction.
• Oversee data pipelines and API contracts bridging robotics with SAP EWM and other WMS.
