DC Army National Guard seeks a Technical Engineer to help plan, build, and repair airstrips, docks, barracks, roads, and other facilities. You will learn to convert ideas into detailed drawings and gain hands-on experience in civil engineering within a military context.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 17 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with pay during training and benefits like the Montgomery GI Bill and tuition assistance.

• Conduct geodetic and construction surveys with specialized instruments.
• Provide technical support for construction projects.

• Draw topographic maps and charts using Computer Aided Drafting systems and software.
• Conduct geodetic and construction surveys and results utilizing Automated Integrated Survey Instruments and Global Positioning Survey Technology.
• Provide technical support for vertical and horizontal construction projects.
