Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract-focused engineer to manage Active Directory, EntraID integration, and Azure roles. The role involves coordinating with application teams and vendors, mentoring engineers, and applying industry best practices.

The position is based in Buffalo, NY, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will partner with Technology management to design, implement, and document technical solutions for current and future needs.

Skills Required:

Active Directory Management:

• Oversee the Active Directory infrastructure and services.

EntraID Integration:

• Facilitate hybrid synchronization between Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Ensure that all non-service account AD identities are synchronized with Azure AD.
• Provide support for enterprise applications and app registrations.

Role Management:

• Maintain and manage Azure-specific roles (e.g., Global Reader, Directory Reader).
• Coordinate with application teams (e.g., Exchange) for role-specific needs.

Work closely with Technology management Engineers and support teams on a regular basis to implement and manage the design development and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed current and future needs of the organization.

Responsibilities may include infrastructure review implementation and design creation of support and architectural documentation standards policies analysis and testing. Regularly and independently interact with business partners of varying associate and management levels to ensure clarity of the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements.

Coordinate vendor interactions and/or vendor resources as needed.

Mentor and coach less experienced engineers technicians and integrators. Review documentation proposals and changes proposed by less experienced staff.

Seek to expand knowledge and understanding of Financial Services trends practices and technologies on a continuous basis.

Follow and promote use of industry best practices standards and procedures.

Maintain a strong aptitude and working knowledge of applications systems development environments. Maintain a detailed understanding of vendor technologies and services.

Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.64 - $77.74/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
