Job summary

Arenatechnologies is seeking a Technical Editor to support systems engineering and testing programs for the Department of Homeland Security at our Alexandria, VA headquarters. The role focuses on reviewing technical documents, providing detailed feedback, and managing time-sensitive reviews.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. An active Secret clearance is a must.

Salary range is $87,500-$107,500 based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing or editing.
• Experience with testing and evaluation (T&E) policies, requirements, and standards.
• DHS T&E Level 1, DAWIA T&E Foundational Level 1, and/or CTEP certification.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Review technical documents related to systems engineering and T&E.
• Develop detailed comments and recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in comment adjudication meetings.
• Manage priorities for time-sensitive reviews.
