Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring a Technical Editor to review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, logic, and clarity. You will ensure style/format conformity to agency standards and maintain consistency with style guides and specialized terminology.

The role focuses on collaborating with authors to revise content, revise narrative organization, and negotiate further revisions. Strong emphasis on national security, mentoring, and growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of national security classification procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and to adjust as priorities change.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in technical editing of finished intelligence products within the IC, or 7+ years of experience in technical editing of finished intelligence products within the IC in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.
• Ensure style and format conform to agency publication standards and align with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary.
• Amend draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to support content and ensure proper classification markings.
