Job summary

JRC Integrated Systems is seeking a Technical Editor to shape and maintain project documentation for a high-priority national security program. You will develop templates, ensure consistency, and support QA within systems like DOORS, LiveLink, and SIPRNET.

The role is hybrid with on-site days, requires a bachelor's degree, the ability to obtain a SECRET DoD clearance, and 1+ years of experience. Strong written communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET DoD security clearance.
• 1+ years of relative experience in technical editing or documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills.
• Works well as part of a team and has strong interpersonal skills.
• Travel: less than 20%; hybrid on-site with regular on-site days.
• Active DoD or DoE security clearance with Top Secret SCI clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain templates and template indices, ensuring they are current.
• Provide quality assurance support, including setting up and maintaining quality templates and performing quality reviews.
• Perform tasks within SSP systems to set up and maintain program-specific documentation.
• Support and contribute to internal communication tools.
• Deliver program status updates for external reporting.
• Create briefs, status reports, memorandums, formal letters, and documents for program managers.
