Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Drafter based at our Greenwood, SC facility. The expected annual salary range is $56,000–$83,000, with eligibility for a variable incentive program. Salary is a general guideline and based on skills, experience, and market considerations.

The role involves interpreting drawings and specifications for quotation, manufacturing, and related product work, coordinating with order engineers, sales, and customers to ensure accurate drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years drafting experience in drafting, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or provide CPT/OPT/STEM OPT support.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing, providing expertise on product applications, performance, specifications, and design capabilities.
• Maintain knowledge of product engineering technologies and market conditions to support business objectives and customer needs.
• Develop technical documentation, competitive analyses, product information, and training materials to support field sales and customer presentations.
• Act as a technical advisor to COE, drafting, manufacturing, quality, and MOL teams on design and order-related requirements.
• Review and evaluate customer specifications and order documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring proper processing of order-related activities.
