Job summary

Technogen, Inc. is seeking a Documentation Specialist to gather, analyze, and compose technical information in support of the Client Program Office.

The role emphasizes clear communication for both technical and non-technical audiences and ensure compliance with DoD and Client documentation standards. The position requires five years of relevant experience, proficiency in technical writing, and the ability to work independently under general direction.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Experience in technical writing and documentation pertaining to all aspects of IT.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, including conducting research on applicable standards.
• Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of submission.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or under only general direction.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and update technical documentation supporting Client acquisition and technical operations, including but not limited to: TEMP, SEP, COOP, and similar.
• Technical operational documents — INFOSPOTS, POA&Ms, AARs, and minutes.
• Technical support documents — requirements, system specifications and parameters, and related materials.
• Ensure all work products use the Agency's documentation templates and comply with Client and DoD standards.
• Address Section 508 accessibility requirements in all applicable documentation.
• Support lifecycle sustainment documentation and requirements-traceability efforts across the Client suite of applications.
• Prepare and maintain documentation using the Microsoft Office suite in the Government-supplied format.
• Deliver documentation on or before PMO-established due dates and incorporate COR/PMO review comments within required turnaround times.
