Qualifications

• Ability to produce clear, concise, and grammatically correct content that articulates technical concepts to a wide range of audiences
• Aptitude for translating complex technical information into user-friendly documentation
• Attention to detail, especially editing and proofreading skills

Responsibilities

• Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents to communicate technical specifications and instructions clearly
• Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers and referencing specifications, blueprints, and trade journals
• Oversees preparation of illustrative materials and selects drawings, diagrams and charts
• Performs quality review of materials
• Tailors documentation for varied audiences while preserving technical accuracy
