Job summary

Inframark's Operations and Maintenance team seeks a Technical Director to lead drinking water treatment across our facilities in the United States. The role emphasizes high performance, regulatory compliance, and efficient process optimization.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with at least 10 years in water treatment operations and regulatory roles, plus strong SDWA knowledge and project management experience. Travel is expected to support our nationwide program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required; data science/statistical methods coursework a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in water treatment operations, troubleshooting or regulatory roles.
• Strong knowledge of SDWA requirements and industry standards for water treatment facility performance.
• Experience in planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management for projects or initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance across our portfolio of facilities on operation of water treatment plants, including troubleshooting, process control and optimization, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with facility staff, regulatory agencies, leadership and stakeholders to align with plant performance goals and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operations and maintenance activities.
• All offers are contingent upon background screening, drug testing, and driving record review where applicable.
