Gensler in San Jose is seeking a Technical Designer to collaborate across disciplines and contribute from concept to construction documentation. You will work on corporate workplaces, offices, and education projects, bringing a passion for detail and materiality.
The role requires in-person, full-time work at the San Jose office five days a week, with base salary between $84,000 and $108,000 plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on experience.
As a Technical Designer at Gensler, you will collaborate with a talented, multidisciplinary team shaping the future of the built environment. You’ll work across a wide range of project types, including corporate workplace environments, commercial office buildings, and repositioning projects, as well as a growing portfolio in education and mission‑critical facilities. In this role, you’ll contribute throughout all phases of design—from developing concepts to coordinating construction documentation and supporting construction administration. You bring a passion for design, a strong interest in technical detail, and an appreciation for the nuances of furniture, finishes, and materiality.
Gensler’s San Jose studio supports a vibrant architectural and interiors practice, delivering innovative, climate‑responsive design solutions across a broad spectrum of projects.
