Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking a Technical Designer to create and maintain PLM tech packs guiding suppliers and factories from samples to production-ready garments.

You will partner with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, and global teams to ensure design intent, fit, quality, and calendar requirements, leveraging Illustrator and PLM tools.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in apparel manufacturing, design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and apparel manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Illustrator; working knowledge of Gerber, PLM, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of Browzwear or other 3D applications preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and review accurate tech packs in PLM, including measurements, construction details, fit requirements, sketches, imagery, and product data.
• Coordinate hand-offs, meetings, recaps, and next steps with cross-functional partners.
• Support fit sessions, sample reviews, and product evaluations to ensure alignment with design intent and quality standards.
• Manage workload, product status, and calendar milestones, and contribute to departmental tools, processes, and special projects.
